I purchased an HP desktop locally and parted it out for other builds.  However, the HDD came with a recovery but there is no COA to be found.  The issue is the license is no longer being used and would like to use it for my GF's sisters build (Windows 8).  Is there anyway to scan the recovery to pull the COA?  The HDD is in my girlfriends PC as a storage drive but I bought a new license for her.
