Maybe eventually, but I don't have another $500+ for this build

Cut down on the Monitor and get a better quality PSU that is Fully Modular (EVGA G2 750w/850w ones are great) and really get a SLI done because with 2k you need to get SLI or in my opinion it isn't worth it

Because he had a hard drive.

If I was you, I wouldn't get that 1920x1080 G-Sync monitor. For one thing, that 980 is way overpowered for it, a bit like trying to load a 155mm tank shell into a machine gun. If you were me, I'd wait for Acer to release their XB270HU Predator (the bigger brother of what you selected). It's a 2560x1440 G-Sync monitor with 144hz refresh, but it's IPS. In the mean time you should get a cheaper 1920x1080 monitor just to tide you over until it comes out (you're going to want a nice lump of cash to get it).

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/aoc-monitor-i2267fw This would tide you over until that monster Acer monitor is released ($370 saved right there). Maybe get this instead. In the mean time save those pennies, you're going to want an expensive monitor and also another GPU for your master race experience. Another money saving tactic is perhaps to get a 970 instead of a 980. Getting a second one wouldn't be so expensive, and a pair in SLI will do very well on a 1440p display, even in the higher end of the FPS.
