Folding, no load on GPU?

Ive started folding this morning, and I finished my first work unit about 5 hours later. just a minute ago i looked back at it from my xbox.while my folding app and gpu-z were open, I realized that there was no load on my gpu and the temps were around 43c. Is it normal for there to be periods of time where nothing occurs when folding? because my percentage-done bar keeps going up... thanks in advance

It's normal, if you don't have it folding at full. If you're folding at medium, then only the CPU will be folding.

I deleted the CPU task from the "slots" section so now im mining at full with just GPU... still normal?

If just folding with the GPU, and the slider is set to full, then you should have GPU load, check the log file and see. Might just be having a temp issue downloading a new one from a server.
