Whoa, another thread.

Either way, would this idea work?

My Corsair  Carbide 200R case has a spot on top for 2, 120mm fans, and 1 for an exhaust.  My FX 8320 fan is loud and doesn't cool well.

Will the h100i be a good buy - I can just remove the 2 top fans correct?

Also - will it physically fit?

I did not think it would fit in my 200r so i got an h60 but if it does it would cool well.

It might be a very tight fit if you do push and/or pull configuration so it probably not fit. http://www.hardocp.com/article/2013/01/07/corsair_carbide_series_200r_compact_atx_case_review/5#.Uddzyvm1GH8

The link shows the image of the h100 mounted onto the case but I am not sure if it is with fans or without. Would just get a H60 or a LQ310 (currently using this).
