not sure about the 980s

Go to solution Solved by totjup5,

so i am kinda wondering if they need two cards to run 3 set up screen

i know the other models u need at least two cards

and i know AMD uses a adapter like the 7870s and up

so if anyone knows more then one card is needed let me know cuz it seems the card can support more then 3 screens but doesnt say u need more then one card

and wat is the reason why nivida needs two cards to run 3 set and up

rather AMD making it more easy and cheaper

I currently run 3 monitors off a 970 with no issues. I have 2 cards now, but I did this even when I only had one.

Almost every Graphics card (apart from the REALLY CHEAP CRAP) will support 3 screens.
Especially the high end shit.

And there is no need to SLI to have 3 screens. (unless you want that extra performance.)

Remember, you only plug in screens into 1 card anyway when SLI'ing or xfiring.

One 980 can support 3 screens... Not 3, 4k screens, but three 1080 screens I am sure it can handle.

Actually it depends on the model, some will support triple 4k displays.
