So this is my first ever PC builld. I thought I share it with the Linus Tech Tips community.

The specs are:

CPU: Intel Core i3 4150 2 x 3,5GHz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4 Tower Cooler
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 (got this one for half the price on a sale)
Memory: 8 GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600 MHz Kit 2 x 4GB
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GeForce GTX 750ti
PSU: 530 Watt be quiet! Pure Power L8 CM Modular (I know a little overkill, but I wanted a little headroom for upgrades)
Case: Fractal Core 3500
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1000 GB
DVD-Drive: A cheapo DVD-Drive from a local PC store

Are there some tips or tricks I don't know about that can improve the performance for little money?
It would be nice if you could share those :D.

What do you guys think of the cable management? I'm a little disappointed that the GPU 6+2 Pin cable was to short to route from the back. Now it hangs in the front and I don't like that.

The airpressure in my build is positive. I have 2 inlets, one in the front, on in the bottom of the case. There is no active out, but the cpu cooler blows air out the back. All the inlets have dust filters.

Thats about it. What do you think of my first build?

Upgrade the CPU ..... to an i5 / i7 depending on your needs

Be sure to get an 'K' (unlocked) version, since it would be a waste of your money on that Z97 motherboard...

He just built it....

And the i3 is very good enough.

5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz

Not the best advice when he's on a GTX 750 Ti. More money would be much better spent on a GPU upgrade. But he may not have the funds anyway.

Yeah I build this PC with upgrades in mind. My budget was limited and I had to buy a monitor as well.

The PSU supports a high end GPU.

And the Motherboard was a sale and I just bought it so that overclocking would not be a problem in the future.

Edit: Got the Motherboard for 50€ (52$).
