Lately (Last week or 2) I have been noticing performance decreases for my laptop. Its been having a harder time running games and multitasking. I was watching a twitch stream when I noticed it started to lag. I then noticed my laptop was quite hot. I started up HWMonitor and it was running at 90C. Has the thermal paste gone bad or something? What can I do to fix this? I believe it has only been doing this lately but maybe its just me noticing how slow my laptop is since tuesday my graphics card "should be here" (damn fedex) and that will be the last of my parts for my new computer. Thanks

Check the vents. It could be clogged with dust. Clean it out and see if temps go down.

90c without intensive tasks?

Clean the dust or replace the thermal compound
