Required public school classes are a joke, you don't learn nearly as much as you should.

Take it from someone who spent years studying history and is currently laughing through APUSH

in NY they switched to the "common core" and i have seen first hand at how much harder the curriculums have become. my cousin who is in third grade is learning stuff from 7th, and the freshman and sophomores in my school are learning trig and other things that i have the "option" to take but its mandatory for them and at a earlier grade level.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I'm on common core in new jersey, and nothing has gotten harder.

The history courses got shit on though.

Instead of taking modern euro history, which is something we've never had, we're taking us history again for the fifth time in our ten years of shcooling

we really do take alot of us history, i learned the same shit in 11th grade that i learned in 7th. why cant they change it up a little. i would love to learn a little about how canadian life was similar to ours in the era of colonization, or have an entire course where we learn about the major events that shaped the world. im tired of learning about political cartoons and how rosie the riveter helped throughout the war.
