Hi all,

I've been after answers to this issue for a while now, but still not having any luck with it.

I'm attempting to boot Windows 7 onto a RAID 0 (controlled through the onboard controller), but I keep coming up with problems.

After resetting my motherboard to it's default state, enabling RAID options through the mobo I am now in the Windows installer where it's saying that Windows cannot be installed to this disk (the array).

I've tried formatting the disk, partitioning the disk, but it says 'the computer's hardware may not support booting to the disk' and that I should enable the disk's controller in the BIOS.

I'm sure this shouldn't be an issue, as the array checks out in the BIOS, unless there's some other setting I'm not aware of.

The motherboard I'm using is an ASUS X99 Deluxe

This is urgent.

Cheers,

saya

Make sure you have the RAID drivers properly configured on the board.
