So I have an Asus z97-AR with an 4690k and 16 Gb of Dual Channel DDR 3 1600 Mhz memory from parrot. However according to CPU Z, I am running at 800 Mhz. Why is this? Someone please Explain

Ram speeds always shows 1600/2 = 800. but its still 1600 :)

Why? i dont know

Because it's DDR just multiply the speed by 2.

It is still 1600MHz OP.
