Uninstalling Microsoft Office/Will The Product Key Be Able to be Reused?

sch41

I am going to be doing a system reset on my sister's computer in order to fix her computer. I need to know, though, when I uninstall Microsoft Office from her laptop, will the key be deactivated so that I can reinstall it?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

Is it office 365? Or is it an older office?

Another question, if anyone sees this. Where should I find the product key if my sister doesn't know it? Never mind, she has it in an email.

Hmm, then i doubt if you can reuse it. If it work like windows 7 keys though you can, I've used my windows 7 key like 5 times (only on one pc at the time though) But im not sure office works that way. You could copie the office files in the "programs(x86)" folder and then paste them into the fresh windows install, you would probably dont need to change anything. (Can't garantuee this would work)

Otherwise check with microsoft support? They probably know what to do.

Welp...I already uninstalled it. We'll see what happens once I do the reset. I'll be sure to post the result.

It's working fine. The key went over perfectly.
