i5 bottleneck 290

hi, i have an i5 3570 and a r9 290 saphire tri-x not overlocked and in battlefield if i look at gpu usage it is bounsing around from 100 too 50 a bottleneck?

because when i go to the mantli api the bottleneck is gone is this a bottleneck?

Sounds like one, but I also have a 3570k and a 290 and don't have any bottlenecking issues on BF4. What are your temps and do any other games do this? Do you have the latest drivers?

i do have the latest drivers no in other games the cpu usage is about 20 to 50 % but in battlefield it's different

Under the processes tab, right click the Battlefield 4 application, hover over Set Priority and then select real time.

i am using direct x but i think with this it shouden't be bottlenecked with the i5

Use mantle. That will literally instantly solve your problem and give you an fps boost. Are you on windows 7? Because if you are you're limited by DX11 as opposed to 11.1, too.

...look, mantle exists for one reason and one reason alone: use the cpu better. There shouldn't be a BIG bottleneck, but there is one nonetheless. Why don't you try it?

ok i tried it works great but with 11.1 dx the is a big really really big bottleneck
