Which VR headset?

I'm planning on developing a game this summer and i want it to be a VR experience.


 


I want to know which headset is the best overall


 


I'm looking for lowest latency, best head tracking, and so on and so forth.

Contact the VR headset makers and see what info they will give you, surely the ones that are happy to team up with are the right ones. Not idea what the APIs are like for any more advice. I would guess OR and Valve.

I'd bet my money on the HTC/Valve partnership because VALVE! Also, Oculus rift, they rest don't look so promising to me. :)

So far, the Valve/HTC headset looks to be the most promising. Especially with Gaben's claim of 0% of people getting sick while using it. And the ability to have multiple being tracked in the same room (With only one pair of sensors for all of them) seems like some pretty cool things could be done with that.
