PSU issue! Please help

Go to solution Solved by Dimwitted,

No, you're using the wrong cable. The CPU cable should be a 2+4 connector and it should be labeled CPU and plugged into that socket. It will be beside the 24 pin socket on the PSU. There are 4 PCI cables which are 3+1 connectors and should be labeled PCI.

System Spec;

CPU: i7 3770K

PSU: Corsair RM750

GPU: 2x MSI 780 Lighting

I need advice on an issue I'm having supplying power to my computer. I recently bought another 780 and the PSU only has 3 8pin connectors on it which is only enough to power the motherboard and one graphics card, however i need to use all them for both the graphics cards and the 8pin motherboard power, which leaves me the problem of powering the 6pin motherboard power using one of the 6pin outlets. I haven't been able to find a 6pin to 6pin cable. Can anyone help me out with any ideas on what I could do.
