Hello guys.
I would like to talk about my current PC configuration, my plans of future upgrades and that kind of stuff.

My current configuration is:

MB: ASRock N68C-S UCC http://www.asrock.com/mb/nvidia/n68c-s%20ucc/

CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 640, 3,0ghz

Memory: 6gb ddr3 ram, 1x Kingston 4gb & 1x Kingston 2gb sticks, both low cost ones, both working on 1333 mhz

GPU: Powercolor Radeon 5750 1gb gddr5

PSU: Some cheap PSU with 450w

So my idea was to replace PSU and GPU asap. But my only problem atm is that i have 0 earnings and i am attempting to keep things cheapest they can go. :)

So my main question is, should i even consider this upgrade of Gpu and psu serious, or shold i keep my savings for new PC? Should i go for some high end gpu? Btw, i am looking at gaming on 1080p monitor, and tempting to hit at least 30fps on most new games on at least medium settings on newest titles. Would this CPU bottleneck me? And yea, RAM upgrade is a must. I am thinking about 2x 4gb sticks @ 1600mhz bcs that is highest i can go with this MB...

Sorry for my bad English (its not my native language) and mistakes if there are any.
i would like to hear what would u guys recommend

Get a good and reliable brand with a long warranty for your PSU, that thing will last you for several years and can be salvaged for a new setup if you ever decide to get one. A 450W to 500W PSU should be enough for your needs.

Anyway, before we can recommend anything, what kind of budget are you planning to work with?

Maybe upgrade the GPU to an GTX 750ti? Its Quite cheap and still performs pretty well i modern games. And is the RAM upgrade nessasary? If it runs fine withot errors it could work, otherwise maybe you could buy a second 4gb stick to save more money (of the same sort of what you have)

But I would probably save for a new PC instead, or atleast for the main components and keep the chassi and HDD (if its not about to fail) Like you could go for a budget build with upgradability. For example you could get a Pentium or i3  with the 1150 socket so you later on could upgrade to maybe a i5 and i still think the GTX 750ti would be a good budget choice that you later can change to a 970 for example, and then some pretty cheap motherboard and a cheap dual channel 8gb ram kit

FX-8350 GTX760 16GB RAM 250GB SSD + 1TB HDD

+1 on the 750ti, *if* you are gonna upgrade GPU

also, while most of my computers have unbranded power supplies, i suggest trying to find one from a reputable brand, preferably 80+ bronze or better.

(edit: i had 2 unbranded power supplies burn up before)

Yea, i was thinking about getting 760 or similar if i go for upgrade solution. I am not in a green nor in a red team, so AMD is also an option if cheaper. :D
About psu, this one is a quick replacment made in a lack of funds bcs my old CoolerMaster 600w died after 2 years of use, so i needed any psu that can make my pc usable.

Problem with Ram is that i bought this 4gb stick 3-4 years ago, and i cant find same thing, not even with used hardware, so i think about selling these 2 sticks so i can buy 1 with that money, and then add some more money and buy same stick.
If i go for new PC, i think about new sick MB, new PSU, some budget cpu that can be replaced later, and keeping RAM, GPU and storage. Gpu would and ram would be 1st on a replace list.

My storage solution (WD 1tb CaviarBlue) died about 2 months ago, so now i have 256 Silicon Power SSD and WD 512gb hdd
