For the backstory, please see: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/317449-bsod-always-at-the-same-time/#entry4314388

Doing a Windows startup repair yielded no results. My next move is now to have someone analyze my minidump I uploaded to osronline. Here it is:

If anybody could tell me what the hell is going on with these BSODs I'd be very happy.

Thanks in advance.

I don't mean to be rude, but I would run MalwareBytes first, and double-check it doesn't find any issues. After reading your previous post, it sounds more like malware causing issues when it attempts to hook-in. Have you checked the drive for any errors? I know Corsair has their "corsair toolbox" utility for the force ssd's - that might assist in identifying the issue also.

Terve!

I have made the virus scan with the recommended software. It put out a file that was bad and I set it on quarantine.

I did not have an other BSOD since yesterday. Appears to be good.

But that leads to an other question for me: which antivrus should I run?

I haven't searched anything on that topc, but I'd appreciate any help.

Glad to hear the issue appears to be resolved :)

As far as what to use for anti-virus...i would say this:  I prefer using Windows Defender, and malwarebytes as necessary. That being said, I do use AVG on the little one's PC's, or as default for customers(unless they have their own preference). Honestly though, other than McAfee and Norton which seem to just be everywhere they shouldn't be...I think AV's are mostly personal preference. Choose what works best for you :)

Thank you for the suggestion. I guess I will stick with MSE and just add some malewarebytes scan.
