Yes you can use different ram speeds together the ram will run at the speed of the slowest stick.

Anything will work as long as it is DDR3, thus physically fitting in the socket. Just please don't buy anything with speed over 1866MHz as you will be paying way too much for a something that is already old (DDR3 I mean), not to mention that you wont notice any significant performance gains, which would justify the costs of that RAM.
