Witcher "Minimum System requirements not met"

So I just installed The Witcher (first one) and i try to play it but it says "Minimum system requirements not met." Im pretty sure my computer can play it no problem. Whats the problem here?

Does it let you start the game? Or just this message and then nothing?

They just did not have your System's Registered i guess so it automatically says you fail as it has no idea what you have ? if the game runs fine just ignore it :)

 

It doesnt let me play it

It wont let me try to launch outside of steam. It says there is an "application load error"

Try this. Right click on game in your library and select to launch game with parameters and type this in without quotes "-dontForceMinReqs"

It should be somewhere in the properties. I am on phone now do can't say exactly.

But before this undo everything you did before based on my first post to avoid errors.

i just reinstalled it and did this^^^ and it worked. thanks
