I just upgraded a ton of parts in my PC. So I have an h61, i3, and gtx 660 laying around. I am thinking about taking those parts and turning them into a lan box. I would prob get an locked i5 for gaming but other wise I just need more ram and a case. How are M-atx for lan boxes? Should I go with m-itx if I can find a 1155 socket board? If not what m-atx case would you lovely folks suggest? I'd just need more ram and a cpu heat sink.

edit: Here is a quick throw together. I would take the ram im buying here and put it in my new rig.

I mean, it would work out fine. Your question is really a matter of preference. M-atx will be fine for LAN, m-itx being better i guess? only because it takes up less space

Just like getting insight if one is practically better than another. Just looking for more ideas is all.
