Nikon D3100

What's your opinion on it? I'm planning on getting one as my first DSLR, as it is known as a beginner's camera, and it's fairly cheap. I'm going to be using it for family pictures as well as nature shots.

Should I get it, or go for something better (and if so, what?)

Well... got a Canon Rebel T3 :P

It was cheaper in the bundle I was buying it in, because I looking for two lenses :P

Doesn't really matter if Canon or Nikon.

I though would probably always take a Nikon over a Canon. I just like their "eco-system" better.

They were pretty much the exact same camera, just from a different brand. The Canon one was cheaper plus the secondary lens was a bit better, so I went with it instead :)
