Hi guys sorry for bothering with this question but there is a combination of factors in play and I would like advice.

I am experiencing some "wake up" problem of my desktop pc if I put it to sleep for many hours (aka going to bed and starting the pc again in the morning).

If I do so the pc wont start until i remove the power plug a second and plug it back in and it will start (the session is not lost in the mean time it boots correctly with all the was left to sleep).

Now the problem is that the computer is custom build by me, and I changed the cpu a week ago and it s first time using windows 8.1 so a lot of factors in there and maybe you guys had experience with that before.

I built the system like 2-3 weeks ago and I had a pentium g3258 for some overclock fun, after a week or so I removed the cpu and put a i7 4790k.

Now during the pentium time I don't think I have wake up problem but to be honest I dunno if I put it to sleep or not and since it was in for just a week maybe the problem just didn't show up.

So , did you guys have had this problem before? might it be hardware problem or more a windows 8.1 problem? any thoughts?

I am running a gigabite z97x SLI with 8gb corsair venegance and two 960s.

Cheers
