this is going to be my first build, and I need some help deciding what parts I will buy.

My budget is around a €1000 (EU). and I will be using it for gaming.

parts so far:

- Intel Core i5 4670K Boxed

- Gelid Solutions Tranquillo Rev.2

- Asus Republic Of Gamers Maximus VI Hero

- MSI GeForce GTX 760 Twin Frozr Gaming

- Corsair Vengeance 2 × 4gb

- Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 620W

- Samsung 840 series 120GB

- Western Digital Green 1TB

- Fractal Design Define R4

Any thoughts on how to improve would be great, thanks.

Seems good, but If you have a few extra euros lying around I would get 8 more gigs of ram and maybe a bigger PSU if you are planning on doing SLI, Overclocking or something like that :)

PC Specs:  2x GTX 550 ti in SLI - Intel i7 2600k @ 3.4Ghz - Thermaltake Overseer Case - 8 GB Corsair Vengeance Ram - 1TB Harddrive - 500 Watt PSU that came with my old prebuilt pc lawl -  ASUS P8P67 EVO

Peripherals:  Razer Deathadder Black Edition - Razer Arctosa Keyboard - Logitech G53 Headset

Cool song of the day: Chief Keef - Round da Rosey    Changed my profile pic again...                                        Mountain Dew is good. So are video games and music. Oh and unicorns.

I disagree with pewpewmerica, 16gb won't do anything for you unless you're editing, the PSU is fine.

Like I said, only if he has a few more bucks lying around, I am aware that 16 gigs isnt totally necessary :)

Well if he has some extra bucks and he wants to game, shouldn't he upgrade something that will actually increase his performance? Like his GPU or a bigger SSD?

I will stick to the 8 gigs

but is the PUS good for SLI?

and Theo what GPU do you recommend ?

Yeah stick with 8gb, I was mocking that other guy when I said 4gb :D

You can use this to calculate your PSU, it works pretty well..

What do you mean meh? It seems good for 1080p gaming or if you're not even playing at that resolution it'd be great I suppose

Its good but at that price there are better cards imo, from what i remember from benchmarks the 7950 is at the same price + never settle ( yes i know its "last gen"

Hey there. You are looking mighty fine today, have my virtual cookie!

The 7950 is more expensive though if you want a decent overclockable card such as the Vapor X from Sapphire.
