Pre-ordering games on steam.

Why in the steam library does it not show when a game is being released which you've pre-ordered?

I know you can view the release time from the steam store page, but it seems like unnecessary clicks. Does it do this with all preordered games?

But the first hotline Miami was so damn good, I don't pre-order big AAA games, they are somewhat renowned for performance problems, whereas this game isn't exactly demanding in the graphics department.

It's just one of those dead simple things Valve hasn't figured out.

Not a bug unfortunately.

I've pre-ordered Project CARS and had the same question.

I guess it's not really a huge issue that needs addressing immediately but I just think it's an over sight not to include it, surely it can't be that hard to do. 

 

A side note on project CARS, wasn't that delayed or something?

Yeah it was, which is unfortunate... Oh well. Ill get my money back with the photo mode...

Yeah I've downloaded some wallpapers from project cars' website, damn they look amazing. I'm hoping that project CARS is gonna be good.

OP already pointed that out, it's just a bit of a PITA when it should easily be viewable from your own library. It just takes extra time, and it doesn't seem like it needs to only be accessible via the store.
