I'm trying to make my Dell Latitude D830 a hackbook, but none of the macless methods worked for me. My friend has a PowerPC mac mini I gave him a while back that i might be able to borrow to do the install, but i don't know if MyHack will work on PowerPC. If someone can inform me, that would be appreciated :)

how do you figure?

Well assuming you were able to actually make the usb and could not boot, it is more than likely a hardware problem. OS X is not like windows or linux where you can just install it on almost any machine. OS X only has certain hardware support built into its kernel and the odds of some custom motherboard made for a laptop being supported are very slim.

OSXLatitude says my laptop has great compatibility. I'm likely just having issues with my creation of the bootable medium. That being said, i've seen MyHack tutorials enough times that i could probably get that working right
