Just wondering who I should go for in terms of Warranty/performance in terms of AMD cards, I heard XFX is the best (and it just so happens they win on price too?) Is it true?

I've heard MSI is pretty good, and a lot of people complain about Sapphire waranty service, even so their cards are great. But Xfx should be quite good because they put lifetime waranty on their card the only letdown about Xfx is the voltage locked card, if you're going for Xfx try to get older model, they're unlocked.
