DDR4 or No

Im thinking of getting 8gb of DDR4 memory to replace my DDR3 16gb. I never use all 16gb becuase Im the type of person who has a max of 5 chrome tabs open at once and 3-4 programs. Should I upgrade?

Well you would need to get X99, a motherboard, and tehn DDR4. So no, it's not worth it at all.

You need an X99 motherboard and an expensive ass CPU to run DDR4....

It is not that simple. You would need a new motherboard and CPU, and the only platform that supports DDR4 currently is X99, which would cost around $600 minimum to upgrade.

Also, you would not see an improvement in speed or anything.
