I have a blue snowball ice, in the microphones properties i change the level to 60 because 100 is way to sensitive.

Every time i turn my computer back on the level goes back up a little until it gets back to 100. In the advanced settings i turned off Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device. What do i need to do to make the level stay the same?

Thanks

No, and it's not the default Mic. i use a different mic for skype and in game talk.

Windows changes the volume of your mic if it you start communication apps like Skype. Change that by right clicking to your mic in "recording devices" and then in some tab that says something like communication you should set it to "do nothing if conversations is started by user". It think it will fix that

I can't find a setting like that, and i have a different mic set for default communication. Since i started this thread the mic has went from 80 to 100. and i haven't opened any applications.
