Msi gtx 970 driver issues

Go to solution Solved by Kc7vwc,

Nvm, just reinstalled everything.

So a couple times the last few days I've tried updating drivers. (First time I forgot GeForce experience) and on next boot, I can't get into Windows at all. The install removed old driver (clean install) and everytime I reboot where Windows should be is just a blank screen with occasional glimpses of the mouse cursor. Safe mode works, but it ain't let me install the driver from there, even manually. Only option I found that works is reverting to older system restore point, but then I'm stuck with system the eat it was before I tried updating drivers and GeForce experience.

Any ideas what's going on after the reboot? Windows should have at least some basic vga driver to revert to if no nvidia driver is found.
