Hey,

I have some problems with my OS (Windows 7) and other programs.

Ok to start i need to tell you guys my "Pc Story".

I bought my PC from a private person on Ebay. That is now one year and five months ago. My PC has a i7-3770k @ 4.5 GHz, a GTX 660ti @ 993 Mhz GPU Clock and 1591 MHz Memory Clock, 16 Gb 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM and a Asus P8Z77V- LX Motherboad and ofc Win7 64-bit pre-installed. Btw my PC has a big custom CPU cooler and a custom GPU cooler (blower). These parts are fit in a NZXT Phantom 410 with one intake fan at the front and two fans (one at the top and one at the back) taking out the air.

And now let's move on. I mostly play CS GO (1,4k hrs within the lapse of time), some BF3, Far Cry 3, 4 and Dying Light. If I play CS GO I play this Valve competetiv mode, ESEA or Faceit. I am playing with a 4:3 resolution and I never had FPS problems. I always had like ~200- ~390 without FPS drops or stuttering. I also have two sceens so that i could watch twitch while i'm playing and still had no problems.

Now it's getting weird imo. I week ago I thought like: "Oh my 128gb ssd is nearly full. To fix it I should reinstall my OS.". So what I did is I downloaded a Win7 iso ran it and reinstalled Windows 7 (64-bit). While installing it asked me if i want to install like "starting programm" and i refused it because I thought i won't need it. I started my pc and downloading all drivers and format my 2. hard drive (2TB HDD).

Now I have like heavy FPS drops or stable low FPS in CS GO and i simply can't find the problem. I can't even watch twitch on my 2. screen because if I watch stream while playing i only have 90-150 FPS and that causes lagging/stuttering on my main 120 Hz screen and every time i start Chrome (every time after booting and sometimes after restarting Chrome) and open up Youtube it just freezes (without the Windows freezing message). If i run Benchmarks I can't find any hyper throttling or stuff that doesn't seem ok.

I'm sorry for my bad english and I hope someone can help me.

Thank you for your help.

Best Regards, Leon

Where did you get this ISO? I have installed Windows 7 several times and it has never asked for a "starting program" or the like.

I don't know anymore, but it wasnt microsoft itself because their website was buggy for me. I didn't need it to boot the software from an usb stick or something. I ran it out of my old Windows 7 OS. I have reinstalled Win7 2 years before (with a cd) with my pc back then and it seemed legit to but i refused it anyway.

I recommend installing booting from a USB to install it. Also, http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/50034-Everything-MSDN-has-to-offer-for-Windows-7has Windows 7 ISO copied from Microsoft, zipped up, and uploaded to Google Drive for downloading. What edition of Windows do you have?
