Room setup, need advices

I would like to game on my desk but also on the TV. Ideally, I would like to put the computer away, in the room behind the TV. It would look like this : 

 

How could I get display, KB/M and ethernet at the desk ? Is there like hdmi/usb over ethernet type of thing ? I'm not sure what I'm looking for and how well it would work.

If you do audio over HDMI you should be OK but wireless range might be a problem for the KB/mouse.

Where is the problem with running the cables through the wall? What is it made of?

 

Oh, didn't see the desk. I would re arrange the room. Out the desk where the TV is and run the cables through the wall. Then run a HDMI cable to the TV and use a wireless mouse and keyboard.

You mean the TV and the desk side by side ? That's my backup plan if the HDMI over cat6 doesn't work. But it will so...
