Help with modem as Bridge

Go to solution Solved by thekeemo,

Yeah but the thing is I can't get to my router inlog screen.

Because the router is off. (but in reality it is on and everything, but it says it's off)

what....?

So I had enough of the problems that I get with my modem/ISP. I asked them to make the modem a Bridge and I attached my own router to the modem.

BUT, the internet speed is still extremely slow and when I log into the modem options I don't have those options anymore (because it is a bridge obviously) but it also says: Router and Wireless are OFF

HOw do I log into the router?

Yes, I am a newb.

I mean, I did try the IP address in the browser of course but it brings me to the modem's log in screen

you login with the info on the router/modem

usually the default is admin/passwor or admin/admin

for my cisco it was on the box
