Some of you may have seen some of my earlier threads about the builds I've been working on for school, and I'm happy to report that I submitted the final parts lists today! I figured I'd share with you what I got :P Keep in mind that these were not picked strictly for the Price/Performance ratio. but more on the variety of parts chosen and the attractiveness of the systems, as they will be uses during open houses to show incoming students. Also keep in mind that I had to order everything from TigerDirect, so many of the components that I would have liked to use were not available. Here they are:

As the title says, this one is meant to be a relatively hardcore workstation for 3D Modeling, Rendering, and for use with the Adobe Suite. The E3-1245 is a bit pricier than the E3-1230 I originally wanted to get, but that was out of stock and I had to make some adjustments to make it work. Should be a beast! A good looking one too :P

Name pretty much says it all. This was meant to be very AMD centric, with everything that could be by AMD being by AMD. The SSD, GPU and CPU are all of AMD's specimen, so I figure it should work pretty well. the Air 540 with its excellent airflow should benefit the very hot 290X and 8320. Should be interesting.

This is a powerhouse, rocking the much loved SLI Krait motherboard and an EVGA GTX 980. Black and white theme looks great too.

This one was a bit messy. I originally planned to Crossfire two of these cards, but I couldn't fit two of them and a PSU that had enough wattage within the price range, so the memory and CPU got an upgrade instead. should be a cool system.
