OBS no lag setting?

For anyone who uses OBS can you all recommend me settings that will prevent more lag on my computer or if possible have no effect on the game i am playing. When recording/streaming the audience should be able to read text on screen and I must record and stream at the same time playing A3L. also my upload speed is this: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4194398663. Also will the bit rate effect my computers performance? also can you give any outside computer advice that will help me get better frame rate in games that is VERY CPU intensive. Thanks so much!
