So I am actually REALLY exited about Cities: Skylines

Misanthrope

Let me tell you a few reasons why:

1) Unlike Cities xl, it actually performs rather nicely from what I am seeing on twitch and youtube

2) Unlike Simcity 2013, it actually has proper tools to build massive cities

3) Also unlike Simcity, it actually has proper road tools to make highway systems and solve traffic problems

4) Seems to be simulating things and not being just based on roads like Simcity 2013

5) Water pipes are a thing: Because I actually do think about efficient water pipe systems even if the savings are small

6) Make your own zones to control industry specialization and where do you want it: you can keep clean industry near the city, dirty stuff on outskirts

So, anyone else getting this game next tuesday?

Me too. Spring break is coming soon and I need a new game to play :D

I don't always have time to study, but when I do, I don't.

Same here, looking forward to the game! Though all the game releases that have been moved away from march, helps a bit :)

I didn't dislike SimCity, I spent quite a few hours on it. But it was pretty limited. So I'm looking forward to build much bigger cities!

Got it for about 20€, so I don't think it too bad :)

This honestly looks like Simcity 4 with improvements and 3D: what Simcity 2013 could have been but EA was too fucking busy forcing always online DRM and has now killed off Maxis.

I'm going to wait until summer, I can't afford it at the moment but I prefer the look of it to simcity (never really liked the games tbh, not realistic enough for me)

This looks like the first perfect or near perfect city building game I've been wanting for a long time. I tried Cities XL 2011 and 2012 a long time ago, but the game performed like absolute garbage and was too difficult anyways. SimCity Societies sucks even though I still like to play it and the new SimCity 2013 seems really disappointing, and that's why I haven't purchased it and don't plan on getting it any time soon. SimCity 4 is good, but its graphics system is outdated. So, if I had the $30, I'd get it. At least it's not the $45 that Cities XXL costs even though it only has a few minor differences from the other Cities XL games.

I have no signature. There is nothing to see here. Move along.

This game looks like you took what I liked about SimCity 2015, fixed everything I hated and added more awesome stuff for good measure.

On the downside, I'll have to buy a R7 260X first before I can get any good FPS, but I was planning on doing that anyway.

This and Kerbal are the only PC games that interest me. :D
