dying light fps problem

when im playing dying light im only getting 50-60fps on ultra settings.

I have 2 gtx 970s, When im playing gpu1 is at 70% usage and gpu2 is at 50% usage but my cpu is at 80% usage (intel i7 4790k)

 

Does anyone know why i am getting low gpu usage but very high cpu usage.

The game is coded like total crap, thats all there is to it. Youll have to just live with it whether you want to or not.

There are a lot of settings you can tweak.

 

There are the two Nvidia only setting in the game, try disabling the Depth Of Field setting.  I read that does a number on your FPS, and is pretty useless.

 

Further, you can lower draw distance... please tell me you did not slide the bar to the right.

 

...and lastly, there is a program called Dying Light Manager that allows you to finely tune the video settings.

i watched this and got my fps up to 100 but the cpu usage is still crap. Looks like its the game. Thanks anyway
