Probably virus

When i am using opera web browser i get unwanted pop ups. How can i avoid this?

I reccomend getting Ad Block Plus. I am not aware if it works with Opera, but I am pretty sure it is.That is not necesarily a virus

His computer is infected with malware/adware, even if adblock is going to work it's only going to hide a problem.

I work in a corporate IT setting part time. We have two utilities that do the job for virus scans 95% of the time: ADW cleaner and Junkware Removal Tool. Malwarebytes is a good alternate scanner as well (remember, there's no harm in using multiple scanners so long as you don't have multiple antivirus software installed).

1: Check your browser addons.

2: Check your installed programs and look for adware.

 

Highly doubt it's a virus, you probably just clicked "lol sure i agree" on adware from an installer.
