I just picked up an used 7950 3gb for $130. How did I do? I heard they can be Crossfired with R9 280s. Is this true? Thanks!

Pretty good deal IMO. Yes, they can be crossfired with 280s, I'm not sure if you need to do any kind of driver mod though. I dont think so but dont quote me.

 

Just needs to have 280 as first card I believe

Yea really good deal. They usually sell for around 150.

 

No driver mods needed. They're literally the same card, just with slightly different clocks and different names

 

Also able to X-Fire with a 7970, R9 280X, and another card I'm forgetting.

I'm glad to hear I did good. It's an XFX Ghost edition, or something like that. Getting ready to test BF4 with it to make sure it does in fact function correctly lol
