Posted March 5, 2015 I was hoping this wouldn't happen, but my shiny new BenQ monitor showed up yesterday with a single stuck pixel in the blue channel. Right in the middle of the display too. I tried a few websites where they display colored flies, and recommend running it for 10 minutes to 10 hours (pending on the site/software). I also tried poking my monitor with a softish object, and that did absolutely nothing. I would totally just live with it, except most games I own seem to have dark loading screens, and the pixel is extremely noticeable. Any experience or input on this? How common are stuck pixels? Do you live with a monitor that has stuck pixels? Should I have asked this in the troubleshooting forum instead?
 Posted March 5, 2015 Dead/stuck pixels are pretty uncommon in modern monitors, but they do happen. Seeing as it's a new monitor, you should send it in for a replacement. While you can live with it, there's no point if you can get a perfectly functioning replacement.
