Besides the kingpin what is the better band for buck for oc and over all performance

 

EVGA ACX 2.0, Asus Strix and the Gigabyte G1 are all pretty much up there. 

 

Just go with the one that suits your builds' aesthetics.

Evga classified seems to be crushing it on the overclocks, after that I would think the g1 gaming.

The best choice for nVidia is EVGA without a doubt. I'd go with a EVGA GTX980 FTW. Amazing card and nice performance. The GTX980 is in fact the best card on the market as of right now, from everything 1080p Ultra to 1440p High to ULTRA with moderate AA settings this is a fine choice.

Asus Strix is a beast for SLI performance but i would personally go for the EVGA model
