How badly do you need a new card?

The 960 is a terrible card.  If you absolutely need a card now, the R9 280 is a much better buy.  But, if you have ~$200 to spend, save up $20 more and wait until NCIX has one of their R9 290 sales.  The Gigabyte Windforce R9 290 goes on sale for $220 once a month on NCIXUS.
