Well yeah, I watched his video of the 780 many times but the 5760x1080 benchmarking isn't in there and that's the only thing I'm actually interested in :D

I agree 100% - Now that cards are a lot more powerful then say 3years ago, it would benefit to always benchmark at higher res since that is what the community is using and/or will be using in the next few years.  I have a 3 monitor setup at home and a 2 monitor setup at work .... at no point will I go back to a single screen.
