i have an optical drive in there and i already own this case and i love it to death

Looks good. Maybe get rid of the Z97 and get a H97 mobo? Unless there are features that you need, there's no reason to get Z97 with a locked CPU.

i was thinking the same thing but i would like 2 PCI-E 3.0 so if i would like to do sli

The SPEC cases are pretty good actually, but I kinda got sick of it and went with a H440
