Gaming laptop

I want to buy a new laptop since mine is pretty old already, even though I built a gaming pc I want a gaming laptop to play when I'm not home, I want something under 1,000 dollars, it's probably not much for a gaming laptop but I just want something reliable any suggestions ?

there's 2 that I'd chose from.

an Asus ROG GL551jm ~$1050

or a lenovo idea pad y50 for ~$900

both have an 860m gpu which is about as good as it gets for this price bracket.

Gaming PC: • AMD Ryzen 7 3900x • 16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz • Founders Edition 2080ti • 2x Crucial 1tb nvme ssd • NZXT H1• Logitech G915TKL • Logitech G Pro • Asus ROG XG32VQ • SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

Laptop: MacBook Pro M1 512gb

Hhmm.. Maybe u wanna take a look at my laptop. MSi GS60 Ghost Pro 2QE 3K With GTX 970M and 1600p IPS panel.

Yea.. I know. It's more than $1000. But, it's a supernice deal. U can save your money for some time if u want to.

Trust me, it's a good gaming laptop. U won't regret it

Asus Zenbook ux305la if you want an ultrabook with an 840m and a touchscreen, for those who want a razer blade but can't afford one.

Lol just cause I want setting at a certain price doesn't mean I can't afford it, I'd rather have an extra 500 bucks in my pocket than pay it for 2-3 minuscule things

I've been thinking about the Msi gs70 stealth ... The 12 gb of ram one not the super high end one .. It's the 037 one, what do you guys think ?

If you want more portability go get the gs60, just that it's limited to the 970m.

Also I don't think the stealth editions are worth imo, windows is poorly optimized for high-resolution scaling so 1080p is probably the most you want on a windows laptop.
