After fighting with the mix amp + for 1 hour and a half i have given up and wanted some feedback for other people who have a pair. After purchasing some today I have struggled to get them working on PC. I have updated the mixamp software to the latest one and only sound is coming out of the left ear cup and when i go to realtek audio piece of fucking shit thing it only registered one ear cup. So i have plugged the green and purple adapter into the mic in and headphone in and it only registers one ear piece and the microphone does not work. Is this realtek audio? If it is can people suggest a solution And can someone help me setup the astros again from scratch.

Thanks,

Matthew

I have the mixamp and it's plug and play on Windows. Plug it in using the usb cable and Windows will auto load the drivers. Then go into the Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound and make sure the Astro is selected. Done :). One thing to note is that using the usb will only output stereo. The Dolby Headphone only works using optical input.

PC Audio Setup = Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro 80 ohm and Sennheiser pc37x (also for xbox) hooked up to Schiit Fulla 3

Not sure what to tell you. Maybe your usb cable is defective or maybe the mixamp is defective. Call up astro and tell them its not working.
