Hi

I was looking at the intel page for their i5-4690K...

http://ark.intel.com/products/80811/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz

... and it says under Memory Specifications that the Memory Types is DDR3-1333 and DDR3-1600... I was planning to get Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3-1866 memory so does that mean it won't work or won't work as well?

I really need to know for sure ASAP as I'm wanting to buy my parts soon (as in the next day or two).

Thanks!

It will work. Its the motherboard memory specs that matter.

1333MHz and 1600MHz is the official supported speeds for the CPU, that Integrated Memory Controller (IMC).

Beyond 1600MHz, like 1866MHz, will require overclocking the IMC. Of course with overclocking, not everything is guaranteed. Your mileage may vary.
