How weird would it be?

I currently only have one 1680x1050 monitor. But I know other friends who have some old ones of the same res. How weird would it be to run 5 monitors?

(monitors rotated 90 degrees of coarse)

yea, if you don't want an odd number of monitors, just mount it at the top, not in surround

Not weird at all to be honest, especially if they have pivot and you can have them all in portrait as long as you have a gpu that can handle them go right ahead!

To me this type of thing seems only fun of you into the whole tinkering process... which takes up a LOT of time and energy; and a lot of people enjoy that instead of actually playing something.

 

But to actually use this kind of setup is not worth it for gaming compared to whats out there now (unless you delude yourself enough).

 

I could barely see the game though a tearing/stuttering 60hz TN... having lots of thick bezels thrown into the mix wouldnt help.
