Hi guys,

Im trying to upgrade my nas system to a quieter cpu fan, but the backplate for my mobo has screw only holes in it, so i cant figure out how to remove it, the board is a foxxcon g33m02

Does the cooler on your CPU have screws that bolt into the backplate? Chances are you loosen the screws on that cooler, and the backplate just falls off if it is the cooler I'm thinking of. Do you know the model of the cooler you have?

oh you don't do anything you just simply put the backplate with the new fan you got on it. Like are the screw holes empty yea ? you can see through them right ?

anyone else know?

maybe you take off the plastic bits ? then you place them on when you get the screw through the holes or you pinch the plastic bits and shove them in there ?

tried what you said, it said same in instructions, and the black pin in the middle cant go through, as the white pins dont go all the way through the mobo
