Last night the left speaker on my Steel Series Siberia v2 died, not sure why as I was in the middle of a game and wasn't moving much at all.

So now I'm using my old Sounds Blaster Tactic 3D Sigma, and they're working fine but the just feel a lot bulkier. The lighter construction of the Siberia was super comfortable.

My current setup consists of a Sound Blaster Recon3d for audio input from my Pc via USB and consoles via Optical, and I use a Blue Yeti for my microphone.

I could use standard headphones without the mic but I find the in line volume rocker extremely useful to balance Skype calls and game sound on console.

So I guess I'm looking for a headset regardless of the mac's quality. I haven't been looking into them for a while and noticed some new stuff around. Or should I just look for another pair of Siberias...

Yeah sorry about that, I guess I'd like to stay at $100 or less, I'd there isn't anything too compelling I'd just fall back and get another pair of Siberia which seem to be going for $80 on amazon

HyperX Cloud should do you fine, although peraonally i'd spend more for HD558 + zalman mic

HyperX Cloud has great build quality and comfort. Also comes with a volume control accessory that can be used with other headphones in the future if you wish.

But they don't have in line volume control do they?

If you wanted to go the headphone route, you can always add an inline volume control: http://www.amazon.com/Koss-155954-VC20-Volume-Control/dp/B00001P4XH/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1424999623&sr=8-1&keywords=inline+volume+control
