Overclocking help plz

Just got a new Xeon 1220v2 and it's 3.1 GHz, i want to overclock to 3.5 GHz which i've heard is possible but i also heard you can't overclock in the conventional fashion.

 

How would i go about doing this?

 

I've heard about BLCK frequency and overclocking my RAM but i'm looking for a safe and stable way to do this.

 

I've got the cooling for it

Trust me its not worth it, OCing with the BLCK is not that good of a method than changing the multiplier

i think Xeons have locked multiplier, so i dont know (correct me if im wrong)

You would have to go into the UEFI and change the BLCK to 104 or something not quite sure I wanted to do it once but realised even with OC you don't gain a lot with xeons
