Odd Network connectivity issue...

So the problem starts with a disconnect from my mumble server and all web browsing and torrents screech to a halt, however, I can still play my online games fine with no lag more than normal for about 2 minutes before i just get a sudden kick out from my gameplay.

 

Happens on both wired and wireless setups.

cant find a way to reproduce it. but it does happen quite often.

Fresh windows install as of last week (Reformatted to try and solve this issue)

Router is stock settings except for Wifi name and encryption password as well as using 3rd party DNS for american netflix (Stock DNS makes no difference).

 

Does anyone have any clue as to what may be going on here?

have the cables for the modem and router been replaced?

 

if you have done you part

 

contact the ISP to check your internet connection

Cables are stock cables that were installed with the router/modem (Rogers combo unit [such a bad idea rogers])

 

I will try to get account holder to contact rogers to see what we can do.
